BEACHES

(As of last update, June 20, 2025, and SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Manasota Beach is OPEN.
Englewood Beach is OPEN. As of June 20, 2025, some more parking opened up. Also, on Manasota Key, Stumpy’s Free Ride can help you get around to some of the restaurants around Englewood Beach.
Blind Pass Beach is OPEN (the “Middle Beach”):
Hurricane Milton related debris and sand management has been completed. Damages to the parking lots, boardwalks, and restroom facility are being assessed. A recovery contractor is being secured for the repairs. It is anticipated that the park amenity repairs will be completed Spring 2026. However, staff had worked to partially open the park to public use.
Manasota Key Rd. adjacent to the park was washed out during recent hurricanes. Road repairs are not anticipated to be completed for 2-3 years. Access to the park is by water or from the south through Charlotte County and the Tom Adams Bridge.
